Ford’s bold design, production, and release of the Thunderbird that was completely different from any other car on the road. Its introduction dealt a death sentence to all the square bodied car that preceded it and it became the car from which all the aerodynamic cars that followed can draw their ancestry. This includes not only Fords but every major auto manufacturer. The ninth-generation Ford Thunderbird was produced in Atlanta Assembly and Lorain Assembly (in Hapeville, Georgia, and Lorain, Ohio, respectively).
