Once I broke in, I found out why the community is as active on twitter as it is. Quality mechanics, narrative-gameplay integration, general antics, ya love ta see it. I found that playing through the titles back to back left me enjoying each one more than the last. I mean not counting Twin Snakes, and exclusively referring to the first 3 here, though I can see why people really enjoy the first. Here's the story of Metal Gear Solid's rise.
