Welcome back to Season 3 of the 42 Berlin Youtube channel. Today, we are are introducing something very special: The Piscine Diary! For the first time ever 42 Berlin is taking you on a real-life Pisciner journey. Throughout the next four weeks, we follow Magda our magnificent marketing lead through her first ever Piscine. Magda starts the Piscine with zero coding knowledge, with the mission to honestly answer the question: What is the Piscine really like for total beginners to code? The piscine at 42 Berlin coding school is a one-month long selection test. During this month, we ask students to treat it as a full-time commitment; dedicating as much time as possible to diving into our world of code. The main purpose of the Piscine is for applicants to trial out our peer-learning methods and see if they are a fit for the 42 Berlin community. The Piscine is not only a coding challenge, but tests the limits of applicants in many different ways. Applicants do not only learn a truck-load of code, but a lot about themselves, how they collaborate and how they thrive. If you are considering doing a piscine with 42 Berlin, this season is a must-watch. No sugar-coating, no shortcuts, just a full-on coding rollercoaster. This is the first time we have ever given such an intimate glimpse into the experience that has changed so many of our students' view of code, education, and community. Join us for the ride.
