Part 2/2:    • Demodex FACE MITE under the microscope   Tips for extracting the face mites for microscopic observation: Put sticky tape over your forehead, node, cheeks and leave it there for about 30 minutes. Keep the face dark to imitate night. Put the tape with the sticky surface on top on a microscope slide and observe. They can best be seen using a 40x objective. The superglue method also works, but has several disadvantages. The glue might harm the mite and it can irritate the skin and eyes. You have to be patient finding the face mites. Slowly and carefully scan the whole slide with the 10x objective.
