Gorgeous rendition of this aria, in my opinion, with very beautiful high and low notes (modern high F and low G), by a countertenor with a very strong voice, who should become a star. The clips were filmed in October and December 2007, in candlelight (but you can also see the light of my computer screen, as well as the two candles, in my eyes in the extreme close-ups). I look horrid on most of those shots, but I decided to use them nonetheless, because my intention was not to look pretty, but sincere.' Marc D.
