Woodturning - The Biggest Aspen I’ve Ever Seen!

In this woodturning and wood art video, I turn a piece of the largest Aspen tree I’ve ever seen into a giant pedestal bowl. I turned the Aspen wood in its wet state, using traditional woodturning techniques to get the rough shape, then let it sit in wood shavings until it was dry enough to finish. It was very, very wet! In fact, I had to do a bit of work on the lathe afterwards because it was getting a thin rust veneer on the bed!
