SM City Taytay is a shopping mall owned and operated by SM Prime Holdings. It is the first SM Supermall in the province of Rizal which is located in Manila East Road. It is consists of two buildings interconnected with a bridge featuring shops like SM Hypermarket, SM Department Store, SM Cinemas, SM Foodcourt, Watsons, SM Appliance Center, Ace Hardware and other various shops and restaurants. ​ In 2014, SM Prime announced the expansion of the mall, with a four-storey mix commercial and office building set to rise in the newly acquired lot adjacent to the mall. Now, the building is housing the first BPO Company in the town, together with various restaurants and a convenience store. ​ In 2016, the town's economy continue to boosts as different establishments like Puregold, the Hive, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Nissan, McDonalds, KFC, Jollibee, Max's and other huge local and foreign companies invest and eyeing the town as the Next Central Business District in the East.
