In 1996 the track was shortened and the West Loop was abandoned. Today there are rumours that the West Loop could be back into use within a couple of years. But as you can see in my video, there is a lot of work to do before this part will be suitable for racing again. I made this track walk on Friday June 23, 2017, just two weeks before the Austrian Grand Prix. Thanks for watching this video.
