Here's the second of the seven themes that will be included in "Primordial Pantheon EP" - the themes of the Kings and Queens of 25.000 years ago, who are important characters in Infinite Eclipse: Origin! Of course, more information about the series will come soon but you can have already a few hints in the document I always put in description of all IE related videos. This time, we're going with the theme of Ventae, the Queen of Storms! Even though she's a bit rough and don't control much her physical strength, she's really warm and welcoming to strangers. The Ventaians are quite recluse of the other population of Alicorns since they tend to live in the far north of the Kingdom, where the weather is the coldest. They have some specific traditions and beliefs regarding the spirits, which say that if an Harmonizer capture a small spirit and lock it up inside a totem, it gains the ability to protect the totem's owner, can take the form of the totem and can be used as a familiar that helps for various tasks. Sometimes, to please their Queen, the Ventaians send to the sacred castle, Eskalt, some young stallions to keep her company. No one really knows what Ventae does with those stallions as "the tradition" wants it to be taboo. No one asks, no one knows, and it'll always be like that. Ventae's Kingdom is a matriarchy - the population is 87% female and they are hierarchically more proheminent in the Ventaian culture. About the Kingdom, it has a lot of lakes, some frozen and some that could be considered as hot spring. The weather there is windy and often snowy, or rainy at best, due to the presence of the Queen of Storms. There’s a small forest of frozen trees to the East, leading to the coast. To the South, there’s a chain of mountain separating Ventae’s Kingdom from Virtus’ Kingdom. The more you go to the North, the more snow there is. The sacred castle of Ventae and capital of this Kingdom is named “Eskalt”. I wanted to go with a nordic/celtic vibe, using the tagelharpa as one of the main instruments. I wanted it to be more solemn than Ardenu's theme as well. As always, this leitmotiv will be used for any Ventaian-themed OST for the eventual audiobooks of IE:Origin (depending on how well the audiobook of IE:Prequel's Finale do, of course). Like the previous one, the theme is separated in two part: the first 2/3 is the Ventaian leitmotiv and theme and the last 1/3 is the Primordial Pantheon theme that will come back in each Kings/Queens theme.
