I made this video just to show the beauty of these two pieces of hardware! The recording was done in 2016 in a living room with a mobile rig, but the right amount of preamp saturation, EQ and compression brought everything to life again! I worked with plugins for the last 8 years, and I know that you can get very good results with software, but the hardware just adds a nice character that you just can't reach with it. It's not necessary for a good mix, but it helps and makes you commit to a certain sound, which leads to not second guessing and changing everything the whole time.
