Consideration #1- select exercises that encourage relative strength, as these will promote healthy body composition. Consideration #2- select exercises that have a conditioning component and promote good work capacity and general fitness. Consideration #3- select exercises that carry a low injury risk. Consideration #4- select exercises that move your body through space, build good balance, and develop body awareness. Consideration #5- select exercises that can be performed outdoors (at least some of the time).
