Glade Run Lake Is Back

This is a short review of the restoration of Glade Run Lake between 2014 and 2017. Glade Run Lake Conservancy was created in 2011, shortly after the lake was drained because of structural deficiencies in the dam. The lake will officially re-open in mid-April 2017, with a new dam and spillway, a new ADA-compliant deck at the end of the fishing jetty, improved handicapped access at the boat ramp, a foot bridge and hiking trail to the east end of the lake, and spectacularly well planned fish- and wildlife-habitat improvements throughout the lake. Glade Run Lake is back, and it's even better than before!
