Yuen Ju 元菊 - Martial arts actor Born in Hong Kong, Yuen Ju 元菊 studied Beijing Opera 京劇 during her childhood at the Chinese Drama Academy 中國戲劇學院 under famed teacher Yu Jim-Yuen 于占元, alongside other Hong Kong movie legends such as Sammo Hung 洪金寶, Jackie Chan 成龍, Yuen Biao 元彪, and many more. In 1979 and 1980, Yuen Ju starred in two martial arts films sharing screen with her former classmates Yuen Qiu 元秋 and Yuen Mo 元武 respectively. After that, it is said that she remained in the industry but mainly doing behind-the-camera work, such as script supervisor, art director, and more.
