Mario shares his story, including the skills most necessary to becoming a groom, developing a relationship with the horses you work with, and about Maracuja’s personality. As a follow-up to this video, Amplify Horse Racing followed Mario from 5:30am until 8pm on Kentucky Oaks day (April 30, 2021) taking viewers along for the ride to see what big race days are like for a horse's closest caretaker, the groom.
