Renegades & Cherokees in a Slaughterhouse Gulch Trail Guide

This is my trail guide on Slaughterhouse Gulch labeled as a moderate to difficult trail. Close to Denver, its a great trail for testing out your vehicle. We film this one with Jeep Cherokee KLs, Renegade BUs, and Wranglers JK & JKU. This one is jam packed with a lot of unique off-road action so here’s the video’s breakdown... Channel Members have access to our filming schedule and I want you to be in the videos! The Black Bear crew gets additional easy to edit videos but offer more up to date info on trails (since guides take a while to put together). The Holy Cross crew gets more say in what videos get edited for the channel (video credits and early looks at Trail Guide edits).    / @coloradomallcrawlers   Time Stamps: -Crow Creek Rd: 0:24 -First Rocky Option: 0:44 -Start of the Loop: 1:44 -Steep Rocky Descent: 2:01 -Ledge: 2:49 -Optional Rocky Option: 3:54 -Muddy Hole: 5:51 -Pick Your Poison/Tree: 6:25 -Toughest Obstacle: 9:33 -Another Rocky Option: 16:18 -Beer Rating: 17:30 -Trail Review: 17:54 -Sneak Peak: 18:14 I use my stock Jeep Rubicon for rating difficulty running it like it’s an open Jeep. Lockers are reserved for I need them moments or to not wreck the trail. Still working on my video making skills but I hope this is helpful! The trail is covered from beginning till the end in order. For trail planning, I use the Funtreks Books (amazon search: Funtreks books). I have the current editions of the Colorado books and Moab. I finish up my trail planning with trails offroad as they can sometimes have more detail as well as user submitted current conditions feedback. I’m testing GPS apps and currently don’t use one. Here’s my video that tells you how I do it.    • Find off-road trails the BEST way!   As always, thanks for watching!! Your feedback helps me, so let me know if you can help me improve these. Share them with your nervous wheeling buddies so they can know that they can do the trail. Subscribe for more trails and off-road Colorado content.
