I'm continuing with the Sonic Megamix playthroughs to celebrate my hype for the upcoming Sonic Mania. Stealth is the main person responsible for creating Megamix, and now he's also helping out with Mania for SEGA. Although Megamix gives all of Sonic 1's zones complete makeovers, the original versions of those zones are still playable in the game, and the best part about this is that you can playthrough them with Megamix's new characters, controls, and upgraded speed physics. So, I start this off by wrecking through Green Hill Zone with Sonic, with a lot of new stuff that he couldn't so in the actual Sonic 1, such as his Super Peel-Out, Homing Attack, Light Dash, his overall increased speed cap, and, of course, the Spin Dash. -------------- To also celebrate Sonic Mania, I am also going to start a 2nd playthrough of the actual Sonic 1 game, one of the very first games that I ever made a playthrough of for YouTube, with an intention to go through different paths in that game compared to what I do for this Megamix playthrough. Each zone for both games will be uploaded side-by-side.
