Michael Pangilinan performing “Lay Me Down”~! I’ve had this one ready for a while now, but I have been hesitant to upload it since I can see that the original video from WISH had been taken down… I thought it might be due to copyright issues or something and I didn’t feel like getting another copyright strike on my channel… and I can't leave you a link to the performance... But now we’re going for it! Though I may have trouble pronouncing his last name without being of the verge of calling him ‘Panini’, I have no trouble seeing his talent. I didn’t know this song very well so I went to see the original before hearing this cover. I could clearly see how the original is attempting to be emotional, though I must admit it didn’t affect me at all. Michael’s cover was the opposite. I am guessing that it might be because he is not trying so hard to make it emotional, he is just singing the song from his heart. That is what makes this performance emotional.
