this video will hopefully help you adjust your door glass on a First Gen Mini. Mine had a window regulator changed at some point in its life and the glass wasnt adjusted afterwards. There was a lot of wind noise on the motorway as the glass was badly sealed. It was a little bit of trial and error and figuring out the best way to adjust. If you can move the glass around while the door is shut, it means you dont need a third hand. There is a tool you can buy that fits the cogs, but a screwdriver worked fine (but cover it in tape to stop it scraping the inside top of the door and maybe causing rust in the future. Sorry about the poor video, its my first instructional video! Hope this helps people work on their own Minis and save some cash.
