In this flashback from 2016, the late Ron Newt spoke to VladTV about a number of interesting topics, including his previous rap sheet that included 165 arrests during his life in the streets. Elsewhere in the interview, he recalled how in September of 1977 he kept a pet lion in his backyard, who he one day had to wrestle with when the feline attacked his daughter. After hitching a ride to the hospital, he remembers shooting the lion dead as his daughter recovered from her injuries. Later on, he broke down the events that led him to transition from the streets to the music industry, where his sons would go on to form a group called The Newtrons, who reached success after they were discovered by Diana Ross and signed to Joe Jackson.
