First time night sailing off-shore, from Stavanger to Nordfjordeid

As my brother Frikk got ready for yet another year at school in Nordfjordeid, we decided to sail up along the coast together. We started off from Stavanger harbor, and mostly motored across Boknafjorden, before staying two days at Karmøy, waiting for the weather to improve. The brand new Suzuki df 2,5 outboard started having serious carb issues, and in the end we made it out past Haugesund to Slettå without it by sculling and exploiting the light winds. When we got further out, the wind picked up, and we held a steady 5-6 knots all the way out into the north sea, and I took the night watch as my brother slept. Having no horizon in the dark was nerve-racking, especially as it started raining and the wind picked up during the darkest hours. But in the end seeing the oil rigs gave me relief. After a little over 30 hours at sea, we made landfall in the village of Sørbøvåg, whose name I've mispronounced more times than I can count. After sleeping in, eating junkfood, and playing Valheim for two days while waiting for the rain to subside, we went on our merry way. The final stretch past Florø we motored constantly, as getting the failing engine to start was getting increasingly more difficult by the day (but it ran fine once warm). The last night was spent on an island by an old ruin of what was once a boat house. I wonder what happened to it? ---- Filmed on an ancient gopro hero 4 silver, soon to be replaced.
