Keighley & Worth Valley Railway - Spring Steam Gala 2020

The 6th-8th March 2020 saw the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway's Spring Steam Gala take place. In usual fashion the railway turned out as many of its operational fleet as possible with an intensive timetable over the weekend, along with one guest locomotive in the shape of GWR Large Prairie No 4144 from Didcot Railway Centre. The event was also another opportunity to see LMS Jubilee No 45596 'Bahamas' making its way along the Worth Valley over the course of the three day event. Despite the recent storms and the forecast not being all that great, the weather for the event was much better than expected, with wall to wall blue skies for the most part on the Friday, and while the Saturday was mostly overcast, Sunday saw the sun return once again.
