It is perfectly situated within easy walking distance of major shops like Checkers, Woolworths & Pick & Pay and the renowned Medi-Clinic hospital. Magnificent mountains, beautiful beaches, and splendid nature reserves are among the wealth of natural attractions. Well known wine estates and famous golf courses are right on our doorstep. Somerset Oaks Retirement Village is a sectional title development. The village is run by a body corporate (trustees) that are voted in annually. All trustees are homeowners so there is a vested interest in seeing that the village is run efficiently. Somerset Oaks was established in 1975 and is the oldest retirement village in the country.
