Her image was included in Max Ingrand's stained glass "forest" in St. Mary of the Woods Roman Catholic Church in Chicago. To learn more about this apparition, we've invited Olivia Murray and Peter Scheidler to share insights about Our Lady of Guadalupe. OLIVIA MURRAY is the Chief Editor of Speak Truth Without Fear and the Deputy Editor of American Thinker. In 2019, she founded Life for Unborn Children, a non-profit with a focus on anti-abortion education using an apologetics approach, and supporting young mothers in unplanned pregnancies. Murray holds a BA in History from the University of Arizona and is the author of the book, Abortion v. Slavery. She is a mother to two boys, very passionate about current affairs, a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment, and remains involved with local efforts to promote God-given liberties. PETER SCHEIDLER grew up in the Edgebrook neighborhood of Chicago. He attended Queen of All Saints School and St. Ignatius College Prep in Chicago. Mr. Scheidler holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and History from Northern Illinois University, a master’s degree in Economics from Virginia Tech and a master’s in Education from St. Xavier University, Chicago. He has taught American history and the history of Chicago, as well as economics and mathematics at several Chicago area schools. Scheidler has contributed to many institutions’ history curricula and worked as a researcher, writer and editor on Racketeer for Life, the memoir of his late father, Joseph Scheidler, founder of the pro-life activist movement.
