That's great! Here's my two cents about owning a Leslie Speaker in 2024 and what it means for the user in terms of space requirements, maintenance and a few other less obvious points. I share a few of my opinions about the sound of a real Leslie Speaker, some abstract "experiential" thoughts about being in proximity to a true Leslie Speaker as opposed to a rotary speaker simulator such as the Strymon Lex or Neo Instruments Ventilator II. Please keep in mind that these are merely my opinions being the lucky prick to own such a beautiful Leslie Speaker (910). I still love the Ventilator II and the T-Racks Leslie which are my preferred simulations when playing live or recording in a pinch scenario where I don't have access to my recording studio. The combination of Hammond organ and Leslie Speaker I consider to be the apex of sound in any case. Whether its a Stymon Lex or a Fender Pinwheel or even simply a Boss RT20 and a Casio keyboard.
