🚲 How to cycle from Barking to Bank, the easy way

You can cycle from Barking in east London to Bank central, almost entirely on quiet streets and protected cycle lanes. The route is 16 km long (slightly under 10 miles) and makes use of Cycleway 3, quiet streets in East Ham, and a few backstreets and shared paths in Barking itself. The journey takes around 50-60 minutes to ride, which is a bit slower than getting the train but could work out around the same door-to-door depending on exactly where you're going.
