The history of life on Earth and that of fire are intimately linked: volcanism is at the origin of the formation of the first organic molecules and the appearance of life on Earth. In 2010, the eruption of the Icelandic volcano Eyafjallajokull caused widespread economic disorder by paralyzing one of the densest air systems in the world for several days. Through spectacular aerial images, this film tries to understand what may be the next volcano to wake up and what may be the consequences of a major eruption. The world has come to realize that under Iceland lies a colossal power, the Icelanders, they have learned to live in the middle of their volcanoes for centuries.
