Episode 59 Namaste, We are Shirish and Pooja and Welcome to a Monsoon Fish Thali Special Episode of ‪@RedSoilStories‬ It was raining heavily from last one week. Many of the villagers set up traps to catch fish, crabs etc in the local water streams. In the first rains river fishes climb up in the small streams. This happens for a shorter period of time and to catch these sweet water fish, people set up traps. We also had set up a trap in a stream, in a fine morning I went to check the trap to see what was traps. That day we caught crabs but Pooja wanted some river fishes, fortunately one of our neighboring uncle got "Khavale fish" (चढणीचे मासे) in his trap. He met me in the fields and we exchanged our catch. I returned home with fishes and gave them to Pooja. She decided to prepare a Monsoon special Fish Thali which consisted of Fish Curry, Fish fry etc. She prepared these fish curry recipe and fish fry recipe in a different way. Also she prepared a fish gravy recipe which was easy and quick to prepare. Raja was happy today as he finally got to eat fish today. We enjoyed this Fish thali for the lunch.
