Song of the Brave - Montfort school song (Hark! concert)

The alumni band, Montfort Alumni Wind Orchestra (MAWO), was founded in 2012 as a platform for alumni band members to continue their ties with Montfort through their love of music. Slowly but steadily, the MAWO grew from strength to strength. MAWO have been performing in Montfort Secondary School’s yearly In-Sync concerts, as well as featuring in the first ever joint concert represented by all the Gabrielite schools’ bands last year (https://goo.gl/qiChXJ). On 15 April 2018, the MAWO and the Montfort Secondary School Military Band put up a joint concert at Victoria Concert Hall for the first time. The concert was aptly titled “Hark!”, inspired by the first word of our school song chorus. The spectators were wowed by an evening of enchanting music by Montfortians, for Montfortians. The Montfort school song (Song of the Brave) was performed by both bands to conclude the Hark! concert.
