Stratocaster with Mid Boost Demo - Tone Monster SG2D Full Throttle TG Active Preamp Strat-O-Blaster!

Demonstrating the tones of an Active Mid Boost circuit I’ve fashioned onto a brass plate to create a Strat-O-Blaster style control plate to really push the mids! This is a Tone Monster SG2D Kit which came prewired with a Tone Shaping Pot and On/Off Mini Toggle switch. They have another one available which uses a push pull pot to engage and shape the mids. This Strat has a chambered Ash body, Fender Fat 60s Custom Shop Pickups, Mighty Mite Neck, Gotoh 510 Bridge and Gotoh Locking Tuners. I used my Fender Musicmaster Bass Amp (1978) mic'd up with an SM57 into Logic where its mixed with just a touch of compression and EQ (default e. guitar settings). For the first half of the video, I'm focusing purely on clean tones. During this time, I am using only a J. Rockett Audio Spring Reverb.
