If you've never stayed here and you love the Georgia state parks you've got to try Vogel. One thing we would say is that it is quite mountainous getting in and out of the park. There are quite a few switchbacks and steep grades but nothing our three-quarter ton couldn't handle. Along with their RV park, they also have a lot of cabins and cottages that you can rent and stay in Another thing we really enjoyed about Vogel was that it's only about a half an hour to 45 minutes from Helen Georgia one of our favorite places and the drive from Vogel to Helen was absolutely breathtaking.
