Climbing Alone!

How many risk factors are acceptable? Climbing has inherent risk, but we accept additional risks all the time. New climbers, new partners, unfamiliar crags, What if something goes wrong, and no one is around? Lead soloing comes with additional risk, but is the risk worth the reward? I'm using a rope and trad gear, so this isn't a free solo, I have protection. I started late and ended up finishing the climb in the dark. I've climbed in the dark many times so this itself wasn't a problem, but climbing trad, in the dark while lead soloing, would have added several risk factors. Everything was safe, and having decades of experience let me get up and down without the feeling I was pushing the envelope. Just another chill Colorado climbing day!
