I wanted to cover this song for so long and I'm happy I finally did! It's close to my heart cause, and not a lot of people know this, when I was 3 years old a very rare bacteria entered my body. By the time the doctors discovered it, it had already left some traces. I was lucky enough it didn't do severe damage but from then on I was left with a scar on my forehead. As I got older, I started to feel very insecure about it. I got a lot of questions about it, people gave me (not so nice) nicknames and even got bullied for it. It's amazing how small thing like this can affect the way you see yourself. The only thing I wanted was to cover it up... When I was old enough, I reached out to professionals to get rid of it permanently, but thanks to the great people around me and songs like this I decided not to do so. I knew that the scar is there for a reason and I'm learning to love it every day. It makes me - me. It makes me unique.
