Nanoparticle-modified Microrobots

This video explores the discovery of a scientific technology called microscopic robots or microrobots, that can treat life-threatening cases of bacterial pneumonia by delivering medication to the lungs. Experimentation has only been conducted in mice so far, however, the results showed that the micro-robots were able to effectively remove the pneumonia-causing bacteria in the lung of infected mice and all the mice survived, in contrast, to the control group mice which died. This video explores new cutting-edge technology that can change the way we provide treatment to patients.
