Nitecore P23i 3000 Lumen Flashlight Review Part 1

This is the first in several field tests of the Nitecore P23i 3000 lumen flashlight. The light is heavily marketed towards the law enforcement community, so this review is slanted towards the LE community. The P23i offers two output modes, Daily and Tactical. This review focuses on field testing of the daily (default) mode, which is also of greatest interest to me in wilderness Search and Rescue. Part 2 of the series will cover Tactical mode. Part 3 will feature the P23i as a free light in on of my Search and Rescue load outs in a realistic training exercise at the LBJ Grasslands. This video was filmed at the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, Texas. After the introduction, most of the field testing is performed in scenarios that illustrate how the light would be used in responding to typical calls an officer might receive in this environment. All segments were shot one-take (with no retakes) with an iPhone 14 Pro MAX.
