This is a video that I've been working on ever since many people gave positive feedback to the preview I showed off. This was an extremely fun project to do, and I would like to once again thank all of the people who helped me with this, whether it was intentional or not. Roxas is a person who was born with no knowledge of who he is, and lost the small amount of memories he had before his life was inevitably given to a boy who he only knew from his dreams. Everyone's heart is filled with some amount of darkness, and Sora himself admits at the end of Kingdom Hearts II: "Maybe the darkness has gotten to me, too." Dark silhouettes of Roxas appear along with a couple resembling Sora, drawing into a long fight for the awakening, and the light within Sora's heart eventually grows stronger when given his new powers. Roxas resides within Sora's heart, which shines the brightest throughout the Kingdom Hearts universe. But the closer you get to the light, the greater your shadow becomes. The echoes of Sora, all happy and cheerful with barely a worry in the world, instill jealousy into Roxas. He awakens with unrivaled anger, and once again goes to free Kingdom Hearts, intending to no longer be a pawn for regaining Sora's memories. If a pawn is left unchecked, it will evolve into something greater at the end of the road. Along the way, a person wearing the robes of Organization XIII finds Roxas in the exact area he was struck down before. When Roxas attempts to confirm his suspicions, he is interrupted by the leader of Organization XIII himself. However, Kingdom Hearts is not yet ready for its power to be absorbed into him. With nothing but his hatred and Riku, he clashes with Xemnas. Xemnas is brutally wounded, but so is someone else... Axel sacrificed himself. Roxas heard the echoes of his death. All this time, Roxas thought his greatest foe was the Organization, but it never was. Your greatest enemy is yourself, and Roxas is Sora. In his fury, Roxas had cleared out all the heartless within the dark city. Nothing was to come between him and his fight to become the one that lives. Sora shouldn't go through his life not knowing anything about Roxas, so he is taken to the place where Roxas's greatest memories are shared... Even the ones he can't remember. As he is about to strike down Sora, Roxas hears Axel's voice call out to him. Axel had brought him to the clock tower to talk to him for the final time. Roxas's anger is calmed, and he realizes it has to be Sora that mends the pain of everyone. Congratulations, you indulged me and read this far.
