Collection: mini house series/DIY small house series Cute house: Corner restaurant This is definitely one of the best houses I have ever seen and made, but I must say that it was not easy to make, although I have made many houses before, it took me 2 weeks, but I have no regrets because this house is so incredibly beautiful, one of the most beautiful of them all! So I recommend starting with any other from this collection (if you bought more) and leaving this and the warm house for last, a warm house is still much easier than this one, but believe me, this beauty is worth all the effort and your time. I can highly recommend this kit! Very good tutorial book, beautiful matte velvet paper, the details are already cut out and are held in small pieces, it's so convenient, the beautiful brick texture is already printed on wood and looks amazing, all the details are very beautiful and interesting. If it's difficult for you to glue on any of the small parts, you can simply skip this step and this will not make the finished dollhouse any worse! About mistakes: (yes, unfortunately, but there are only 2 of them. I have one of the first kits, I bought it as soon as I saw it on sale, in all the next kits they'll fix all the mistakes, but if you also already have this kit, please pay attention to this): there is an error in the height of lamp No. 4, on page 20 they write it should be 2 cm, then it will literally stand on the table, but on page 21 we see that the same lamp is much smaller. There is also a mistakes with the ceiling marks (first floor, lamp 1 & lamp 4), please pay attention to where I show it. I also don’t understand why the 4th diode (for lamp 4) is different from the first 3, in any case it works, I advise you to test it and mark it with a gray and white wire just like mine. About glue: I use B-7000. I'm very happy with this glue, it's slow-acting, after you glue 2 parts together you have to wait, it's 100% transparent, invisible and holds great and it's great for gluing anything that looks like glass. Before this, I tried many different ones but B-7000 glue is much better. And I use fast acting super glue Moment gel from Henkel (when I don't want to wait), but you can make every kit with B-7000 only. (T-7000, T-8000 are very good too). If you can't find B-7000 I recommend you to glue transparent parts (beads, lamps etc.) with Hard UV resin "QIAO QIAO DIY" instead of glue to create a beautiful transparent glass effect. It's clear acrylic resin that gets cured under UV or direct sunlight. Or you can use UV gel nail polish. But please note that it must not be sticky "Soak-off" top. If I have glue somewhere where it shouldn't be, I paint it on top with UV resin or nail polish because it's better to have a glossy glass or water effect than just a white patch of glue. If you can't find B-7000 or similar, I recommend you to glue all the paper parts with the slow-acting "MOMENT CRYSTAL transparent glue by Henkel" (or Patex). I used it before I found B-7000 and the result was great. I still use it for paper craft projects because it's much cheaper than B-7000, I had left over and it can be found at the nearest local store. It's perfect for paper and textile because it's almost invisible and has a rubber texture, it can be used for wallpapers, books, pillows and blankets.
