A new culinary program at the Downtown Boxing Gym is teaching students how to make nutritious meals with a well-known Detroit chef, Molly Mitchell. BridgeDetroit reporter Jena Brooker and One Detroit’s Jonathan Shead examine the impact the Detroit People’s Food Co-op will have on healthy food access and economic development in the city.
