Camptown Races〈康城賽馬〉 〈康城賽馬〉是滑稽歌曲代表作品，將賽馬的情景描繪得生動有趣。全曲輪流以男高音和女聲呈現賭客主題，背景源源不絕的「Doo Dah」聲是啦啦隊的加油聲，與主題交相呼應，將馬場賽事的氣氛提升到最高點。 Te Camptown ladies sing this song, Doo-dah! Doo-dah! Beautiful Dreamer〈夢中佳人〉 〈夢中佳人〉 是福斯特死後才問世的作品，據說是其生前最後一首歌。當時他的經濟狀況極差，妻女都離開他。在這樣困境下，福斯特寫出了這首情感強烈、真誠卻又平靜的作品。全曲使用少見的 9/8 拍節奏，歌曲中不斷重複的旋律，像是一次次呼喚著美麗的夢中人。或許是想將她從睡夢中喚醒，或許是想喚回已永久長眠的愛人。 Beautiful dreamer, wake unto me, Starlight and dewdrops are waiting for thee, Sounds of the rude world heard in the day, Lull’d by the moonlight have all passed away!
