Nikkor AF-S 50mm F/1.8 G vs. Nikkor AF F/1.8 D - Which will win?

In this video I compare two lenses: Nikkor AF-S 50mm F/1.8 G and Nikkor AF F/1.8 D. They are both 50 mm prime lenses for Nikon and are supposed to do exactly the same. I compare the lenses, review them and tell you the pros and cons of them to let you know which one I like more. The Nikkor AF F/1.8 D is older and smaller and doesn’t have a motor. At the same time has an aperture ring that the Nikkor AF-S 50mm F/1.8 G is lacking. Both lenses have their advantages and disadvantages. All things considered I’d prefer the Nikon AF-S 50mm F/1.8 G but for non_Nikon systems I’d get the Nikon AF F/1.8 D lens. I also determine the sharpness of the these lenses in my video as well as lens sweet spots.
