American Tries Mexican Food for First Time! (MEXICO FOOD TOUR)

Looking for a delicious and authentic Mexican food tour? Look no further than this vlog, where we take you on a culinary journey through the vibrant streets of Merida, Mexico, enjoying traditional Mayan and Yucatan cuisine for the first time. In this video, we'll try tacos al pastor, empanadas, picaditas, and other mouth-watering dishes that Mexico has to offer. You'll see the delicious and colorful meals that make up this regions most popular dishes. We'll also give you insider tips on what you need to try when in Mexico for the most authentic Mexican cuisine! Although we didn't record some, we tried many other foods that I can also recommend! Whether you're a foodie or just love to explore new cultures, this Mexican food tour vlog is not to be missed. So come along with us and experience the flavors and traditions of Mexico like never before! In this video: 0:01-0:56 Intro 0:57-1:35 Trying a Torta 1:36-2:15 Empanada 2:16-3:08 Gordita Dulce 3:09-4:09 Tacos Al Pastor 4:09-4:59 Sopa di Lima 5:00-5:36 Panuchos (con Pollo) 5:37-6:09 Picaditas 6:10-7:03 Gringa 7:03-7:17 Tacos dorados One of our favorite restaurants that we visited was El Rincon Veracruz in Merida. It's a family-run business and all of the food we had there was excellent, and everyone in the family was SO kind! (This is where we had the empanada, Gordita dolce, and tacos dorados there--I also had a horchata there and it was life-changing!!!) Another restaurant we'd recommend would be Chaya Maya in historical city center of Merida! This place had a ton of traditional Mayan cuisines that they craft there and it was quite the experience, albeit a bit of a tourist hotspot! We found that the best food was often at a random taco/food shack which is why I can't really give out all the names of the places we ate! Out of everything we had, the tacos al pastor kept me coming back for more--they were OUT OF THIS WORLD! I cannot wait to visit Mexico again soon in a different region to try some of the other Mexican cuisines. What part of Mexico should I visit next and what food should I eat?! Comment below!!!!
