I made this video before Covid started, didn't realize a lot more people would have to start doing their own grips. I am not a youtuber, just trying to help everyone at home. There are many questions about the double-sided tape... when I pull the tape off the dispenser the backing of the tape comes off which you can not see in the video. I assumed taking the backing off was common sense for most people but I could see where someone doing it for the first time could get confused. As far as leaving the old tape on... you can leave it on if it is in good shape... but only leave it on if the extra layer achieves your desired grip diameter!
