This is a live solo guitar performance with the guitar routed directly to Ableton... Some of the effects I am using are: Reverb, Echo, Delay, EQ, TB Audio DSEQ, M4L Lambda, GRM’s Shuffling, Output’s Portal. I also routed a Korg nanoKontrol to control some of the plug-in parameters listed above. The star of this music is the Max 4 Live device called Lambda II by Riccardo Sellan. The great thing about this plug-in is its ability to capture live sound. This allows me to process my guitar live as I'm playing using granular synthesis. Lambda can slice up fragments of the live signal and play it back faster or slower, pitch shifted or not. I've been searching for a granular synthesis device that can process a live input signal in real time and finally it has arrived.
