A sparring bout between rapiers with two different companion weapons. The shield used here is what would be called the Rotella in Italy, and was a common shield in the renaissance era that was used with a wide variety of single handed swords, including rapiers. It is of steel construction and double strap (one leather and one metal handle). The rapiers used are both Darkwood Armoury. The rotella is 55cm diameter and weighs 3.3kg.
