Surprise Sea Trout : Port Errol : Pier Fishing : North East Scotland : and the lost tackle.

A very very early start to get to the mark and meet my pal Gordon for some fishing. Turned out to be a surprise catch of a Sea Trout, not the target species but welcomed all the same. I'd been targeting the Pollock, Coleys and occasional Mackerel that often hang about near the harbour wall and rocks with metal lures. I also had the beach caster rods and was after some of the Dab or Flounder from out on the sand. I've had success in the past but this time it was the rocks that were hungry for the tackle. Great early morning session with plenty of blether with my pal Gordon. Whatever happen we usually have a good laugh.
