Greenway 2020 || Filmanthropos & LA River Corp.

The Los Angeles River Revitalization Corporation were chosen as winners of Filmanthropos's #ProduceLA2050 contest. #ProduceLA2050 is an #LA2050 themed ProduceAthon in partnership with Goldhirsh Foundation and the Center for Nonprofit Management to produce a short film for a select organization that is helping to shape the future of Los Angeles. A ProduceAthon is a work-around-the-clock creative blitz to help a cause tell their story and the impact they are making through a short film produced entirely over a 24-hr period. The future of Los Angeles depends on a shared vision and on collaborative change makers in local communities who are dedicated to driving and tracking progress toward that vision. The condition of Los Angeles today matters because who we are and how we live now sets us on a course for who we will be and how we will live tomorrow. The LA2050 draft goals were created for this purpose -- to help influence LA2050′s activities in 2014 and beyond. We believe stories of impact and change deserve attention, appreciation, and support. That's why filmanthropos, Goldhirsh Foundation, and the Center for Nonprofit Management have teamed up for #ProduceLA2050 to celebrate one change-making organization with a custom video that tells the story of the impact they are making.
