Following on from last years post of 73970 filmed on the West Highland Line we now depart Fort William this year in lovely Spring sunshine on the 1B01 Caledonian Sleeper service to Edinburgh. This year we travel behind 73969. All the beautiful views filmed, give an alternative view from the left hand side, immediately behind this at times, lively GBRf engine.. When I filmed this we are in the remaining weeks of the drop down window making it possible. When the Mark 5's arrive this will no longer be possible so make sure you enjoy for years to come this soon to be nostalgic record out of the window from Fort William to Rannoch.
