Here is a video on how to make an accurate concrete skateboard mold. In this video, we're using CNC cut high density foam made by our friend Beau at http://www.opensourceboards.com. Hit up Beau for your own foam casts here - https://www.opensourceboards.com/cont... This is a low cost way to get very accurate customized concrete molds. You can also visit their brand new mold design site - https://www.sk8cad.com **NOT SHOWN IN THE VIDEO** - There are in fact rebar cages in both sides of the molds, we left the 2nd one out of the edit to avoid redundancy, but in hindsight, should have included it. We only used 2 pieces of rebar even though we purchased 3 pieces. 1 ten foot piece per mold. We used a drywall screw on each side of the 2nd mold (the one without the mounting screws in the concrete) and tied the rebar to the screw with tie wire to keep it off the form. You can see the wire sticking out of the concrete and wrapped around the screw at the 5:47 mark. -We used foam casts in both molds. Again, we left the 2nd one out of the edit to avoid redundancy, but in hindsight, should have included it.
