"Was Gott tut, das ist wohlgetan" （"What God Ordains Is Always Good"） words translate by Samuel Rodigast in 1675 music from Nürnbergische Gesangbuch in 1690 arranged by Johann Sebastian Bach The instrument I am playing is an old German instrument called "Kuhlohorn." A church musician, Johannes Kuhlo, requested the instrument maker to develop this instrument for use in brass ensembles in churches. The year of manufacture is unknown, but the instrument was made probably between 80-100 years ago. It is similar to a rotary flugelhorn, and has a mellower, softer sound. 演奏しているのは「クーロホルン」というドイツの古い楽器です。教会音楽家であったヨハネス・クーロという方が、教会でのブラスアンサンブルのために楽器メーカーに依頼して開発したものです。製造年は不明ですが、おそらく80〜100年ほど前の楽器と思われます。 ロータリーフリューゲルホルンと似ていますが、よりまろやかで柔らかな音がします。 *I am not a follower of any particular religion.
