Building my DIY budget Sim Racing Rig. In this video I use wood to create a fully functional budget friendly sim racing cockpit. Uprights are cut at a 25 degree angle on top. On the top 1x8, the 2x2's run across the width to give support. The 2x2 on the shifter arm is cut at a 45 degree angle on both sides and provides support to the bottom of the arm. A 2x6 was used underneath the chair for support however depending on what chair you're using your mount may be different. For example for a real car seat you may be able to mount the rails directly on the base. ▶Most commonly asked question is where to get the chair.
