I Made a Javanese Traditional House (Omah Joglo) in Minecraft | Timelapse

Hiya, It’s Hadim here. I think Java is very underrated. If Bali is the only thing you know about Indonesia, then it already proved that Java is underrated. That’s why I wanted to build a Javanese traditional house (omah joglo) in Minecraft. What do you guys think about the result? Is it woah or nah? Whatever you think about the result, I hope you enjoy this video. I was planning to upload this video on Indonesia independence day. But I couldn’t make it on time. ____________________ Timestamps : 00:00 : Intro 00:55 : A Little Talk About Joglo House 02:06 : Timelapse 16:06 : Some Explanation 18:40 : Bye-bye ____________________ You might ask, “Why is the video in English? You might get bullied for using English instead of Indonesian.” Well…, either way, I might still get bullied. If I’m using English, people will harass me for not being proud of Indonesia. To people here, not using the Indonesian language is equal to not being proud. Even if the reason is to introduce Indonesian culture to non-Indonesian and to reach a wider audience. If I’m using the Indonesian language, people will harass me for being cringe. Some people said that I sound girly in Indonesian. Well, this one is probably true. XD ____________________ Dang, it, I forgot to mention them in this video : 1. The tall roof is called limasan. 2. The reason why I was using a crazy amount of note blocks is because I’m crazy, and the note block looks like carved wood. (I think Javanese love carved wood) 3. So, what about the beehives and soul soils? I TOLD YOU I’M CRAZY. Besides, those blocks look very good in this building. 4. Wait, also there are many lodestones and blast furnaces. Aren't those hard to grind in survival mode? Well, yes, but you can replace them with other things. For example, replace the blast furnaces with deepslates. Use your creativity! 5. I used polished andesite, andesite, and stone as floor to replicate the old grey floor tile that was used a lot in Java. 6. I don’t use many 1.17 blocks because I started to build the joglo house in 1.16. I switched the version later when the build is almost complete. ____________________ Credits : The Java map is from google map (of course it is, that’s obvious).
